Purpose

The Milton Band Foundation’s primary goal is to build a self-sustaining endowment that allows the Foundation to financially support the Milton High School Intrumental Band program, it’s Directors and staff, and most importantly, our students who choose to participate in this worthwhile program.

  • The Endowment will provide a permanent source of funding used to help enhance today’s program as well as future program expansion.
  • Support student mentoring programs to students enrolled in music programs in the elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Endowment dollars will supplement the current Fulton County school budget, not replace local or state funding.
  • MBF dollars are private contributions obtained through the generosity of the residents and local businesses of our community.

Why Support the Milton Band Foundation?

Instrumental music programs offer high school students a unique and enriching educational experience in music, live performance, teamwork, leadership, travel, and competition events. School District budgets provide only a portion of the funds needed for capital investments in new instruments, music, and supporting infrastructure.

Your contributions make the difference in providing the equipment and materials that enable a full range of musical opportunities for every band member. We are very fortunate at Milton to have such a dedicated group of parents working to ensure the band program’s success now and into the future. The Milton Band Foundation has provided our program with instruments, equipment and the sponsorship of our student mentoring program thereby enabling the best possible musical experience for our students. Through the efforts of the Foundation and the generosity of our parents, alumni and corporate sponsors, we look forward to building an endowment that can ensure the future success and growth of the Milton band program.
